SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 8TH:

UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI, ROLLA

One of the most beautiful stops on our tour. A high point in the Ozarks with mile long views in every direction. Our program of Becker's "Away Without Leave", the Takemitsu song arrangements, Reich's "Drumming, Part One" Hartenberger's "Invisible Proverb", "Tongues" and the ragtime arrangements drew yet another standing ovation. (With all modesty, every one of our concerts was received with a standing ovation.)

Russell Hartenberger gave an African Drumming workshop to an enthusiastic audience.

Early next morning we set off on a 471 mile drive to Madison, Wisconsin. We had to arrive in time for a 6:30 P.M. master class, and we made it.
